| “Top Marks” We stayed with friends for three nights and would recommend the house and the area. Very comfortable and well appointed house in lovely countryside and near a number of beautiful small towns and villages. The owners are very helpful and even rescued us when we missed a turn on a walk and ended up in the wrong village. Excellent food prepared by Lilliane. Ray and Chris Dublin |
| “quiet B & B near the beautiful town of
Casteinau-de-Montmiral” Lillian and Josh are Belgian and run a beautiful farmhouse B & B just outside of Casteinau de Montmiral. Our room was very large and well appointed with a large bath and plenty of room. We opted for the evening dinner which is prepared by Lillian. We enjoyed the dinner, well worth the price, with the owners and a couple of their guests. The meal was delicious and came with complimentary drinks from the Galliac region. The pool was refreshing after our drive to this B & B. The Town of Casteinau is a gem, especially the town square with its impressive archways. We wished we had stayed longer and enjoyed the personal touch and the great directions to other must see sites and towns in the region, including impressive Albi. I would highly recommend this B & B to anyone intersted in visiting this beautiful area of southern France and looking for peace an quiet. |

“very pleasant experience” We picked Artichaud on spec from the internet and we were not disappointed. Three nights in a lovely converted farmhouse with an extensive library and an interesting and personal art collection. Meals were beautifully cooked by Lilliane using locally sourced ingrediants along with the surprisingly good Gaillac wines. Lilliane and Jos were excellent hosts and the conversation flowed. ... All in all a very pleasant experience. |

“We highly recommend this B and B.” This B and B was a great find. The B and B has lovely spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The meals were wonderful and prepared by Liliane from home grown or local produce. There is a delightful outdoor area and swimming pool. Jos was very helpful in explaining the area, what things we could do and see. Without his help we could have missed seeing the Albi Cathederal which is a must see. |

“A Rare Treasure” My husband and I stayed only one night but have only positive things to say about our visit. We received a warm welcome by Liliane, who lent me a bathing suit so I could swim in their beautiful pool. We loved our spacious bed/sitting room which was comfortably furnished and had many interesting pictures and art works to enjoy. The room was fully equipped with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed a delicious meal, all home cooked by Liliane and enjoyed the great local Gaillac wines served with the meal. I am sure we will stay here again - with pleasure! |

“really lovely holiday” A great place to stay in a really lovely area. Liliane and Jos made us feel very welcome, and the room we stayed in was big and comfortable. The food was great - lots of local ingredients or even home grown for a few dishes. We chose the walking holiday option, and the walks that Liliane & Jos had prepared were very good, and gave us a great way to explore the whole area around Artichaud. The surrounding countryside is fantastic and we also enjoyed walking to the nearby towns of Cordes, Puycelsi and Castelnau. The maps and route descriptions were prepared for us so it was easy to follow. We went in April so it was not too hot to go walking, and really enjoyed the whole week. |
